Mo has written some new tunes and bought some home recording gear, so we may soon see some new material. And we may play a reunion gig in Chicago around November. If it pans out, I'll post here. Other than that....

The Deans are on an extended hiatus as Mo has moved back to Michigan and now resides in Grand Rapids. Brian is still playing in 14 other bands (including Organ Wolf, Epicycle, and Le Concord) and Kent is taking care of his bidness - both still reside in Chitown. There is a possibility of a sporadic gig here and there - we'll let you know if that pans out.

The Deans now have a MySpace site (better late than never, I guess). Another band that was going by the name The Deans (outta Arizona) was kind enough to let us have the site after breaking up - you can't fault them for their taste in band names! So many thanks go out to the Arizona Deans for being cool and to Lisa for sweettalkin' them into it. Check it out here: Deans on Myspace.

As for the unreleased Deans record, it's been on hold for the past year. Some tracks are available on the site, but are not the final mixes. I know there are ... er... dozens of people looking forward to it, so we will finish it sometime. In the meantime, more songs have been written and may be played out live when Mo gets some people to play with Grand Rapids. Though, that is proving rather difficult if you play anything besides Metal or Christian rawk. Oy veh...
